Media Tech Smart Control Ltd., Flamingo 4, Be’er Yaakov, Israel, is committed to maintaining the privacy of its users (“User”, “you”).
This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, process and protect information when you use the DOMEX website, mobile application (Domex.Life App), smart devices, controllers and cloud platform (PCC – Professional Cloud Configuration) (collectively: the “Services”).

1. THE SERVICES

DOMEX provides a smart automation system allowing monitoring and control of lighting, shutters, HVAC, boiler heater, scenes and integrations with third-party platforms such as Amazon Alexa, Google Home and Apple HomeKit.

The Services include:
• Mobile application
• Cloud configuration platform (PCC)
• Controllers and smart switches
• Remote support and diagnostics

The system is a convenience automation system and not a life-safety or emergency monitoring service.

2. TYPES OF USERS

Personal data may relate to:
• End Users (homeowners)
• Installers / Integrators
• Distributors / Dealers
• Website visitors

3. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

3.1 Information Provided by You

When registering or contacting us:
• Full name
• Email address
• Phone number
• Address / project location
• Company details
• Login credentials
• Support communications

3.2 Smart Home System Data (IoT Data)

When operating DOMEX devices and controllers:
• Device identifiers (MAC address, serial number, CloudID)
• Room names and configuration labels
• Automation scenes and schedules

• System usage patterns
• Diagnostics, errors and performance logs

DOMEX does NOT record or store audio, video or camera recordings unless provided through external third-party integrations.

• App usage statistics

4. PURPOSE OF PROCESSING

We process information to:
• Operate and maintain smart home functionality
• Provide remote configuration (PCC)
• Provide installer technical support
• Authenticate users and prevent unauthorized access
• Improve performance and reliability
• Deliver firmware updates
• Detect fraud or security incidents
• Comply with legal obligations

5. INSTALLER & REMOTE ACCESS

Authorized installers assigned to a project may access system configuration data solely for installation, maintenance and support purposes.

DOMEX personnel may access limited diagnostic data when necessary to resolve technical issues.

We do not monitor user behavior inside the home beyond what is required for system operation and troubleshooting.

6. DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION

We do not sell personal information.

Information may be shared with:
• Authorized installers and distributors assigned to your project
• Secure cloud infrastructure providers
• Integration partners required for system operation
• Analytics providers for aggregated statistics
• Authorities when required by subpoena, court order or applicable law
• To prevent fraud, unlawful activity, or security threats

In the event of a merger, acquisition, sale of assets or corporate restructuring, personal information may be transferred as part of the business assets.

7. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS

Data may be processed outside your country including Israel and the European Economic Area.
Where required, transfers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC) or equivalent safeguards.

• Smart home configuration — while system active

• Legal records — as required by law

Users may request deletion subject to operational requirements.

• Monitoring and breach response procedures

No system can be guaranteed completely secure.
