These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the DOMEX website, mobile application (Domex.Life App), controllers, smart switches and cloud platform (PCC – Professional Cloud Configuration) (collectively: the “Services”), operated by Media Tech Smart Control Ltd., Company No. 514010016, Flamingo 4, Be’er Yaakov, Israel (“DOMEX”, “we”, “us”).
By installing, accessing or using the Services you agree to these Terms.
DOMEX provides a smart automation system enabling monitoring and control of lighting, shutters, heating, HVAC, scenes and integrations with third-party platforms.
The Services are designed for comfort and convenience only and are not a safety, alarm, emergency, medical, or life-support system.
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Services or have authorization from the property owner where the system is installed.
Users may receive login credentials and a CloudID.
You agree to:
• Keep credentials confidential
• Not grant unauthorized access
• Notify DOMEX of suspected misuse
DOMEX is not responsible for damage resulting from unauthorized access caused by user negligence.
DOMEX devices must be installed by a qualified installer.
Installers and integrators are independent contractors and not employees or agents of DOMEX.
DOMEX is not responsible for:
• Incorrect wiring
• Electrical faults
• Network configuration
• Third-party programming
• Installation quality
Authorized installers and DOMEX support may access configuration and diagnostic data when necessary to operate, maintain or troubleshoot the system.
We do not monitor personal activity inside the property beyond technical operation requirements.
Service availability depends on:
• Electricity supply
• Internet connectivity
• Local network infrastructure
• External services
DOMEX does not guarantee uninterrupted operation.
DOMEX may integrate with external platforms (voice assistants, automation systems, HVAC gateways and similar services).
DOMEX is not responsible for outages, failures, or changes made by third-party providers.
DOMEX grants a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the software only with genuine DOMEX hardware.
You may not:
• Reverse engineer firmware
• Copy or distribute software
• Emulate devices
• Circumvent security protections
• Resell cloud access
All intellectual property remains property of Media Tech Smart Control Ltd.
We may update firmware, applications or cloud services to improve functionality, security and performance.
Features may change or be discontinued.
Services are provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE.”
DOMEX does not guarantee:
• Continuous uptime
• Error-free operation
• Compatibility with all systems
• Prevention of property damage
The automation system must not be relied upon for safety-critical purposes.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, DOMEX shall not be liable for:
• Indirect or consequential damages
• Loss of data or automation settings
• Loss of comfort or convenience
• Property damage caused by system failure
• Failures caused by installers or third-party services
Total liability shall not exceed the purchase price of the relevant device.
Use of the Services is subject to the DOMEX Privacy Policy available on the website.
DOMEX may suspend or terminate access if:
• Illegal use is detected
• Security risk exists
• Terms are violated
We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance.
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Israel.
Exclusive jurisdiction: competent courts in Tel Aviv, Israel.
Users retain mandatory consumer protections granted by applicable law in their jurisdiction.
