Wireless Technology

The ability to control the same light or shutter point from different points in the house is always a challenge for traditional systems during the network design phase. Mesh networks offer an elegant solution to this problem, allowing for wireless communication between end points, defining commands during installation, and creating a versatile system that’s adaptable to the customer’s needs.

Domex Specifications

 

Domex offers power switches with a wide range of combinations, options, and panel designs to suit any room and functionality. These allow the user to control lights, shades, shutters, water heaters, air conditioners, and any other 3rd-party equipment.

Each Domex wall unit is comprised of two main components:
  1. The Domex Electrobox: One of 3 built-in electronic bodies (D6, R6, R3 or SAT), each allowing for various relay modes, SAT modes (for scenarios) and dimmer/power/motor combinations.
  2. The Domex Intellicard: Each Electrobox contains within it one of 3 different smart cards with various capabilities.
 

All of the above switch units can operate independently, as part of the Domex Home Automation system, or as part of any other Z-wave network.

The Domex IntelliCard

Each Electrobox contains within it one of 3 different smart cards with various capabilities.

– The SS Intellicard operates products that use the Z-wave 700 protocol

– The EP Intellicard works with appliances that transmit on Z-Wave 700, BLE, and WiFi protocols

– And the incredible CON Intellicard, which offers Z-Wave 700 chipset, BLE, and WiFi capabilities AND contains a

Linux Microprocessor, which transforms it into both an end-point switch and entire home controller.
